Chad was the consummate professional at all stages of our process. I would definitely recommend Smart Start Home Inspections.  As a first time homebuyer everything involved in the process is new to me.  I chose Smart Start from the reviews he received on-line and they were not wrong.  The owner Chad was great.  He was professional and explained everything he was doing.  He encouraged me to be at his side during the whole inspection and gave advise on how to make minor repairs, while also pointing out anything that was of importance.

My husband and I are in the process of buying our first home, so naturally we wanted to work with an inspector who is thorough to make up for our lack of experience with the process. Smart Start was referred to us by a friend, and has proven to be the best business we’ve ever been referred to. The owner, Chad, personally handled our home inspection. I tend to be a stickler about a business owner’s professionalism – and can honestly say that Chad can be described as meticulous in both his work and demeanor. Finally, I want to note that unlike many other inspectors, who arrive to a job in t-shirts and jeans, Chad showed up to do the inspection in a dress shirt, vest and slacks.
